Aliyah bint Salim (born 1 April 870) was the fifth child and second daughter of Emir Salim Iqritishi. Her mother, Zenobia, was a Greek convert to Islam, while her father was an Andalusian Sunni Muslim; she bore a heavy resemblance to her father. Upon coming of age in 887, she married Sheikh Massiva of Catanzaro.
