She served in the Marines in Europe, Africa, and Asia before working as a Department of Homeland Security consultant, and she became a pro-Trump Republican who supported his border policy, high military funding, economic deregulation, and gun rights. In 2020, she ran for the US House of Representatives in VA-10, aiming to be the first Marine elected to the US Congress.
