Alina Petrović

Alina Petrović (born 1996) was a German policewoman who served in the Berlin Police during the 2010s. In 2018, she and Hauke Wachtmeister discovered the body of Turkish-German footballer Orkan Erdem in a front garden in Marzahn, and they were ordered by homicide detective Kurt Grimmer to cover up Erdem's death until a perpetrator could be identified, as news breaking about Erdem's death was likely to start a race war between Berlin's ethnic gangs. She then served as a liaison officer with the Berlin Police's homicide department for Operation Red Card (a codename which she suggested), the investigation into Erdem's death. She developed feelings for Grimmer, believing that he had brought her onto the team for her looks, but, after kissing her in a closet, Grimmer told Petrovic that he had brought her in because she was smart, and nothing more. Petrovic, heartbroken, transferred back to Marzahn.
