Alice Stewart (11 March 1966-18 May 2024) was a Republican political communications consultant and CNN political commentator. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, she got her start in journalism as a weekend anchor on the NBC Little Rock affiliate KARK. She became Mike Huckabee's press secretary in 2005 and served as press secretary for his 2008 presidential campaign, as press secretary for Rick Santorum's 2012 presidential campaign and for Michele Bachmann's congressional campaign that same year, and she served as press director for Huckabee and then Ted Cruz's 2016 presidential campaigns. While she was an NRA member, on 8 August 2019, she wrote an opinion article for CNN in which she called for action to be taken on gun violence, saying "enough is enough".
