Ali al-Iraqi (died 13 November 2015), also known as "Abbdulakbak B." and "M. al-Mahmod", was a member of the Islamic State from Iraq and one of the perpetrators of the November 2015 Paris attacks.
Biography[]
Ali al-Iraqi was born in Iraq to a Sunni Muslim family, and he joined the Islamic State terror group during its wars in Iraq and Syria against the Shia dictators that ruled them. al-Iraqi fought in the Syrian Civil War, where he met Omar Ismael Mostefai, Samy Amimour, Bilal Hadfi, Foued Mohamed-Aggad, Brahim Abdeslam, and Ukasah al-Iraqi. These brothers-in-arms would be selected for a special mission in Western Europe, and Ali al-Iraqi entered Europe through the Greek island of Leros, claiming that he was a Syrian refugee. French authorities would mistakenly call him "Abbdulakbak B." and "M. al-Mahmod", two identities that he may have had. Either way, he succeeded in entering France with the other attackers, and he blew himself up at the Stade de France in Paris on 13 November 2015 in one of the three stadium bombings during the November 2015 Paris attacks.
