Ali Musaevich Taziev (1974-) was the leader of the Vilayat Galgaycho and the military wing of the Caucasus Emirate.
Biography[]
Ali Musaevich Taziev was born in Nasyr-Kort, Chechen-Ingush ASSR, Soviet Union in 1974 to a family of Sunni Muslim Ingushes, and he was raised in Grozny, Chechnya. He fought in the First Chechen War before becoming a policeman back in Ingushetia, and he became a Captain in the Interior Ministry Police. In 2004, he led a series of raids in Nazran, and he rose in the ranks of the Vilayat Galgaycho, coming to lead it 2007; he also became the leader of the military wing of the Caucasus Emirate. In 2010, he was captured by the FSB, and he was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2013.
