Alfred Avery Burnham (8 March 1819 – 11 April 1879) was Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut from 1857 to 1858 (succeeding Albert Day and preceding Julius Catlin) and a member of the US House of Representatives (R-CN 3) from 4 March 1859 to 4 March 1863 (succeeding Sidney Dean and preceding Henry H. Starkweather).

Alfred Avery Burnham was born in Windham, Connecticut in 1819, and he became a lawyer in 1843 and served in the State House and State Senate before serving as Lieutenant Governor from 1857 to 1858 and in the US House of Representatives from 1859 to 1863. He died in 1879.
