Alexander Stuart Wallace (30 December 1810-27 June 1893) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-SC 4) from 27 May 1870 to 3 March 1877, succeeding James H. Goss and preceding John H. Evins.

Biography[]

Alexander Stuart Wallace was born in York, South Carolina in 1810, and he engaged in planting before serving in the State House from 1852 to 1855, from 1858 to 1859, and from 1865 to 1866 and in the US House of Representatives from 1870 to 1877. He returned to agricultural pursuits around York before dying in 1893.
