Alexander Ogle (10 August 1766-14 October 1832) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-PA 8) from 4 March 1817 to 3 March 1819, succeeding William Piper and preceding Robert Philson.
Biography[]
Alexander Ogle was born in Frederick, Maryland in 1766, and he moved to Somerset, Philadelphia in 1795. he served in the state house and as a militia major-general during the War of 1812 before serving in the US House of Representatives from 1817 to 1819 and in the state senate from 1827 to 1828, and he died in 1832.
