Biography[]
Alexander Escobedo was the official owner of the Basso Oil Refinery in Miami, Florida, and he was forced to pay tribute to Mexican mob boss Rico Granados in 1958. In 1959, Dominic Corleone took over the refinery from the Granados and forced Escobedo to pay protection to the Trapani crime family instead.
