Alexander Caldwell Davidson (26 December 1826-6 November 1897) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-AL 4) from 4 March 1885 to 3 March 1889, succeeding George Henry Craig and preceding Louis W. Turpin. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, he was raised in Marengo County, Alabama and worked as a cotton planter near Uniontown before serving in the state house from 1880 to 1881, the state senate from 1882 to 1885, and Congress from 1885 to 1889. He died in 1897.
