Alec Z. Shellhart (1852-1898) was an American outlaw of the Wild West who was active in Texas during the 1890s. In 1898, he and scores of fellow outlaws attempted to overrun MacFarlane's Ranch in West Texas, only to be shot dead by the gunslinger Iron-Sights Jones, Little Pete, and the Arizona Kid.
