
Aldridge T. Abbington (1860-) was an American vaudeville theatre impresario who lived in New Orleans during the 1890s and 1900s.
Biography[]
Aldridge T. Abbington was born in 1860, and he became the presenter at the Theatre Raleur in New Orleans during the late 19th century. He discovered acts such as the fire breather Antoinette Sanseverino, the magician Benjamin Lazarus, the singer Robin Koninsky, The Petit Flaneur dance troupe, the sword swallower The Mysterious Maya, and the strong woman Hortensia, and he introduced and closed their acts during shows which he presented throughout the 1890s and 1900s.
