The Albuquerque International Sunport is a public airport 3 miles southeast of downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico, serving Albuquerque and Santa Fe. It opened in 1939, and it was given its current name on 17 April 1963. It handled almost 5 million passengers in 2017.
