Alberto Zoido Rodriguez (1983-2017) was a Los Angeles resident who was killed in Operation Day of the Dead.
Biography[]
Alberto Zoido Rodriguez was born in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico in 1983, and he came to the United States at a young age. He settled in Los Angeles, where he found employment at a pool store. In 2017, during Operation Day of the Dead, he wandered into the Vernon clearance zone, putting him at risk of being killed in the crossfire between the LAPD and the Vagos. Zoido attempted to flee the zone, leading to the LAPD cornering him by blocking his path with a squad car. The officer proceeded to exit the vehicle and butted Zoido in the head with his rifle, killing him.
