Alberto II della Scala

Alberto II della Scala (1306-13 September 1352) was the lord of Verona from 1329 to 1352, succeeding Cangrande I della Scala and preceding Cangrande II della Scala.

Biography[]

Alberto was born in 1306, the son of Alboino I della Scala and Beatrice de Correggio, and he was from the House of Della Scala, the rulers of the Duchy of Verona. From 1329 to 1351, Della Scala ruled jointly with his brother Mastino II della Scala, and in 1338 he lost Belluno and Feltre in 1339. He died on 13 September 1352.
