Alberto Guerrero Martinez

Alberto Guerrero Martinez (28 June 1878-21 May 1941) was President of Ecuador from 2 September to 5 December 1932, succeeding Carlos Freile Larrea and preceding Juan de Dios Martinez.

Biography[]

Alberto Guerrero Martinez was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador in 1878, and he practiced law before becoming a deputy and senator during the 1910s. He served as mayor of Guayaquil from 1931 to 1932 and as acting President in late 1932, and he worked to rebuild the country after the Four Day War. He died in 1941.
