Albert Smith (22 June 1805-28 August 1870) was a member of the US House of Representatives (W-NY 33) from 4 March 1843 to 3 March 1847, succeeding Alfred Babcock and preceding Harvey Putnam. Born in Cooperstown, he practiced law in Batavia before serving in the state assembly in 1840, in Congress, and as a justice of the peace and judge in Milwaukee.
