Albert Gallatin Hawes (1 April 1804-14 March 1849) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-KY 11) from 4 March 1831 to 3 March 1833 (succeeding Thomas Chilton and preceding Amos Davis) and from KY-2 from 4 March 1833 to 3 March 1837 (succeeding Thomas A. Marshall and preceding Edward Rumsey). Born in Bowling Green, Virginia, he was raised in Lexington, Kentucky before becoming a farmer in Hawesville. He served in Congress before farming in Yelvington.
