
Albert Gallatin Egbert (13 April 1828-28 March 1896) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-PA 27) from 4 March 1875 to 3 March 1877, preceding Lewis Findlay Watson.
Biography[]
Albert Gallatin Egbert was born in Sandy Lake, Pennsylvania in 1828, and he became a physician in Clintonville before serving as a surgeon during the American Civil War. After the war, he served in the US House of Representatives from 1875 to 1877, and he died in Franklin in 1896.
