
Albert Galiton Watkins (5 May 1818-9 November 1895) was a member of the US House of Representatives (W-TN 2) from 4 March 1849 to 3 March 1853 (succeeding William Michael Cocke and preceding William M. Churchwell) and from TN-1 from 4 March 1855 to 3 March 1859 (succeeding Nathaniel Green Taylor and preceding Thomas A.R. Nelson). Born in Jefferson City, he practiced law at Panther Springs before serving in the state house in 1845, in Congress, and as a Protestant minister.
