
Albert Clifton Thompson (23 January 1843-26 January 1910) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-OH 12) from 4 March 1885 to 3 March 1887 (succeeding Alphonso Hart and preceding Jacob J. Pugsley) and from OH-11 from 4 March 1887 to 3 March 1891 (succeeding William W. Ellsberry and preceding John M. Pattison). Born in Pennsylvania, he served in the Union Army during the American Civil War before becoming a lawyer in Brookville, Pennsylvania and Portsmouth, Ohio, going on to serve as a judge, lawyer, congressman, and district court judge from 1898 to 1910.
