Albert Auvray

Albert Auvray (died August 1794) was a Captain of the Swiss Guard of the French Revolutionary Army. Auvray died in a fight in the Champ de Mars of Les Invalides.

Biography[]

Albert Auvray was a soldier from Switzerland who became a captain in the Swiss Guard of the French Army, and by 1794 had risen to captain and was posted in Paris' Champ de Mars landmark in Les Invalides. Auvray attempted to stop a fight between Arno Dorian and extremist Victor Pernet there, but he was killed by Arno alongside some of his men.
