Alanson Mellen Kimball (12 March 1827 – 26 May 1913) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-WI 6) from 4 March 1875 to 3 March 1877, succeeding Philetus Sawyer and preceding Gabriel Bouck.
Biography[]
Alanson Mellen Kimball was born in Buxton, Maine in 1827, and he moved to Wisconsin in 1852 and became a farmer and merchant. He served in the State Senate from 1863 to 1864, in the US House of Representatives from 1875 to 1877, and as a delegate to the 1884 Republican National Convention, and he died in 1913.
