Alain Menetries (died August 1794) was a citizen of the First French Republic during the French Revolution.
Biography[]
Alain Menetries was a bourgeois worker during the French Revolution. In August 1794, revolutionary extremist Ladislas Saunier stabbed him to death while he walked in Ile Saint-Louis, as Saunier believed Menetries to be an enemy of the revolution.
