The Ala Moana Center is a large open-air shopping mall in the Ala Moana neighborhood of Honolulu, Hawaii. The mall opened on 13 August 1959 after a major land reclamation project drained the local wetlands, and it became the eighth-largest shopping mall in the United States by the 2020s, as well as the largest open-air shopping center in the world.
