
Al Leiter (born 23 October 1965) was an American MLB baseball player and analyst. Born in Toms River, New Jersey, he was a two-time all-star in 1996 and 2000 and a World Series champion in 1992, 1993, and 1997, and he went on to become a studio analyst for the MLB Network. He went on to serve on Governor Chris Christie's transition team and was one of the potential Republican candidates for New Jersey's 3rd district during the 2020 US House of Representatives elections.
