al-Islah, formally the Yemeni Congregation for Reform, is an Islamist political party in Yemen that was founded on 13 September 1990. As the political wing of the Muslim Brotherhood's Saudi-backed "Islamic Front" militia, al-Islah sought to reform all aspects of life on the basis of Islamic principles and teachings, and it became a loose coalition of tribal and religious elements. The party sought to strengthen Yemeni relations with Saudi Arabia, and several Wahhabist madrassas were controlled by al-Islah. In 2017, it held 46/301 House of Representatives seats.
