al-Irada was a social democratic political party in Tunisia which was founded by Moncef Marzouki on 20 December 2015 as the successor of the Congress for the Republic party. The party suffered from internal divisions, leading to a mass exodus of 80 party executives and members in September 2018, blaming the party of supporting a coalition which plunged the country into a political and economic crisis and protected corruption.
