al-Ghareeb the Algerian () was a member of the Islamic State from Algeria.
Biography[]
al-Ghareeb was from Algeria, and he joined the extremist Islamic State terrorist group. On 16 November 2015, he appeared in a 12-minute video and threatened to launch terrorist attacks against the United States in their capital of Washington DC, while al-Karar the Iraqi warned France that the only negotiations would be "in the trenches" (war) and not "in the hotels" (the peace meetings in Vienna). The CIA director John Brennan said that the November 2015 Paris attacks should be a wake-up call for the United States, which was now at threat from the Islamic State's attacks.
