al-Fayed of Kharga (1090-) was a nobleman of the Fatimid Caliphate who married into the ruling family. In 1120, he was given command of a Fatimid army during the Cairene Crusade, and his failure to reinforce the Fatimid capital of Cairo led to its fall to the crusaders.
