Akita Chikateru (born 1819) was a Japanese soldier in the service of the pro-Imperial Choshu Domain during the Boshin War. He served in a regiment of kiheitai in Takasugi Shinsaku's army, first fighting at the Battle of Matsusaka in Ise Province in April 1867.
