Akio Masuzumi was a Japanese yakuza who was affiliated with the Omi Alliance's Kijin-kai subsidiary in Osaka during the 2010s. In 2019, Homare Nishitani III sent several of his hitmen to assassinate Kazuma Kiryu as he and the Watase-gumi enjoyed a night of showy debauchery in Dotonbori, but Kiryu knocked all of them out.
