Akinori Kitano (born 1962) was a Japanese Shimano-gumi yakuza who lived in Kabukicho, Tokyo during the 2000s. On the night of 6 December 2005, he and a few other Tojo-kai yakuza attempted to jump the former Dojima-gumi yakuza Kazuma Kiryu as he walked the streets of Kabukicho, but Kiryu beat them down after a short fistfight.
