Akin Edward France (1869-) was an American lawman from Catron County, New Mexico. In 1911, he and Vincent B. Fountain were sent to guard the jailed grave robber Moses Forth at Benedict Point, but they were lured away by John Marston after he stole one of their horses, allowing for Seth Briars (and a returned Marston) to confront Forth about his half of an incomplete treasure map.
