Akihiro Funato was a Japanese Tokyo Omi Alliance yakuza who served on Tokyo governor Ryo Aoki's personal security detail. In 2019, Aoki brought him and the rest of his detail to the Millennium Tower to confront Ichiban Kasuga, only for Kasuga to beat down the guards and subdue Aoki.
