Akamine Hideo (1591-1615) was a samurai of the Tokugawa clan.
Biography[]
Akamine Hideo was born in Yokohama, Sagami Province and became a member of the Tokugawa army that besieged Osaka Castle in 1615. Hideo dueled with Toyotomi samurai Kanai Tetsu, who killed him with a thrust from his spear in the duel.
