Ajnad al-Sham is a Sunni Islamist rebel group in Idlib Governorate and Hama Governorate founded in November 2013. It took part in the early 2015 Second Battle of Idlib, helping in the Army of Conquest's conquest of the city, and Ajnad al-Sham beheaded and defaced the head of a Syrian Arab Army general. The group is not to be confused with the Ajnad al-Sham Islamic Union.
