Airlea the Joyful (died 422 BC) was a Greek mercenary who was active during the Peloponnesian War.
Biography[]
It's simply a fact that some enjoy killing much more than others. It's said that Airlea the Joyful's face would contort in pure contentment every time she drew her blade across her target's throat, or watched as people tried escaping from a town she lit on fire.
In 422 BC, she was hired to track down and kill the rival mercenary Kassandra after Kassandra's assassination of Representative Pylartes the Gilded Shark. However, she was slain in a one-on-one fight with Kassandra in Megara's suburbs.
