Aimee-Leigh Gemstone

Aimee-Leigh Gemstone (21 September 1955-5 July 2018) was an American gospel singer, the wife of Pastor Eli Gemstone, and the matriarch of the Gemstone family of televangelists.

Biography[]

Aimee-Leigh Freeman was born in South Carolina on 21 September 1955, the sister of Baby Billy Freeman, and she became a renowned gospel singer who reached millions of followers worldwide. She went on to marry the evangelist Eli Gemstone, and, while Eli preached, Gemstone sang and performed puppet shows with her characters "Hymns" and "Tails". The family founded the Gemstone Salvation Center in Rogers, South Carolina in 1979, and they started their television career in 1998 when "The Righteous Gemstones" was first broadcast. She passed away on 5 July 2018, and she was survived by her husband Eli and her children Jesse, Judy, and Kelvin.
