Aiden Tomlin (1923-7 June 1944) was a US Army Private who served in the US 101st Airborne Division during World War II.
Biography[]
During Operation OverIord, Private Aiden Tomlin landed in France along with Sergeant Bryson Harrison on June 6, 1944. He and Harrison assisted Mike Powell and Captain Brandon Ramsey in their mission to destroy German nebelwerfer emplacements.
After Powell destroyed a German half-track, he and Sergeant Harrison joined Powell and Ramsey. Together with the squad, he helped to clear the destroyed city and church. Later, when Powell found the Nebelwerfers, he helped destroy them, though died in the fight.
