Ahmed Hassan

Ahmed Hassan (2 May 1975-) was an Egyptian professional footballer who played as a midfielder.

Biography[]

Ahmed Hassan was born in Maghagha, Egypt on 2 May 1975, and he debuted with Aswan FC in 1995. Hassan transferred to Ismaily SC in 1997, Kocaelispor in 1998, Denizlispor in 2000, Genclerbirligi in 2001, Besiktas JK in 2003, RSC Anderlecht in 2006, al-Ahly SC in 2008, and Zamalek SC in 2011. Hassan became the most capped international male footballer in history, with 184 appearances for "The Pharaohs". From 1995 to 2012, he played on the Egyptian national team, and he retired in 2013.
