Ahmed Berrada

Ahmed Berrada (2 April 1920-6 September 1958) was a FLN leader during the Algerian War.

Biography[]

Ahmed Berrada was born in Hydra, French Algeria to a Sunni Muslim family. He was involved with the Algerian nationalist struggle during the 1950s, and he joined the FLN as the leader of a cell in Hydra in the Algiers metro area. On 6 September 1958, Berrada was killed in a parachute bomb dropped next to his window in Algiers.
