Aharon was a general of the Persian Empire at the time of the Conquests of Alexander. Aharon commanded a field army that was sent from Persia to attack Alexander the Great's invading Macedonian army, advancing from Persia to Cappadocia; the Greeks had conquered Asia Minor west of Cappadocia, and his advance set the stage for Alexander's first battle with a Persian field army.
