Agravain

Agravain (13 April 458-537) was the second-eldest son of King Lot of Gododdin and his wife Morgause, and one of his uncle King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table.

Biography[]

Agravain was born in 458, a son of King Lot and Morgause, a maternal nephew of King Arthur, the brother of Gawain, Gaheris, and Gareth, and the half-brother of Mordred. He became one of his uncle's Knights of the Round Table in Camelot, Dumnonia, and he fell out with his brother Gaheris after he beheaded their mother for sleeping with King Pellinore, their father's killer. Agravain later exposed Lancelot's infidelity with Guinevere to Arthur, and he was one of the guards at her execution. Lancelot interrupted the execution by impaling Agravain with a lance and killing his other brothers, causing Gawain - the lone survivor - to convince Arthur to seek vengeance against Lancelot.
