Afonin Gennadiy Valerianovich (died 5 September 1942) was a Soviet Russian soldier who served in the Red Army's 482nd Composite Rifle Regiment, 131st Rifle Division on the Eastern Front of World War II. He was killed in action during the fighting for the Red Barracks amid the Battle of Stalingrad.
