Afonin Fridrik Ruslanovich (died 12 March 1981) was a Soviet Army soldier who was stationed at a military communications base in remote Soviet Uzbekistan during the Cold War. He and dozens of his fellow Soviet soldiers were killed when a team of American CIA Black Ops operatives raided the facility and assassinated Major Vadim Rudnik in 1981.
