Afek Tounes is a progressive political party in Tunisia, founded on 28 March 2011 as a successor to the banned authoritarian Democratic Constitutional Rally party, which had been overthrown in the 2011 revolution. The party performed poorly in the 2011 legislative election and merged into the Republican Party of Tunisia in 2012, although a splintergroup re-created an independent Afek Tounes in 2013.
