Aethelred of Huntingdonshire (1028-1066) was the Anglo-Saxon Ealdorman of Huntingdonshire from 1066, succeeding Hwaetberht. He raised a fyrd to fight back a Welsh invasion which penetrated deep into England and reached East Anglia, and he later invaded Essex to drive the Normans back across the English Channel. However, he was slain in battle with the Normans at the Battle of Maldon.
