
Aethelbert II of Kent (685-762) was King of Kent from 748 to 762, succeeding Eadbert I of Kent and preceding Eardwulf of Kent.
Biography[]
Aethelbert was born in Kent, England in 685, the son of King Wihtred of Kent and the brother of Eadbert I of Kent. He succeeded his brother as King in 748, and, during the latter half of his reign, he was a Mercian vassal. He died in 762.
